This blog contains no truth, it is just a modest try to reflect over some old practices and the methods they used to have. It does not try to demonstrate, scientifically or not, the reality of some of the concepts described, but just to explain the logic behind them.

As this is meant as a tool for reflexion, the author may not develop in details certain parts, leave open questions or, on purpose, make contradicting statements. He may, also, modify already written posts, the need for improvement being endless.

Name of practices, including the ones of the author, known persons in the field, teachers or masters... will not be mentioned, this is not the point. Very few references will be made. It is up to the reader to go find, if needed, documentation for his/her further reflexion and training.

To keep it simple, Chinese is written in its complex form with no phonetic transcription. A copy/paste to check out the simplified form and meanings, Pinyin, Zhuyin... to any dictionary is not such a hard thing to do nowadays.

For those not used to deal with Chinese, there are choices of pop-up dictionaries making checking characters while reading quite effortless. Perapera is a good one for people reading on computers. Apple phones and tablets have built-in ones and, apparently, Android too.
